Hand-crafted single-stem wooden ash candlesticks

Description
Candlesticks turned and then thinned using a drawknife to create elegant forms for your dining room. The base is created from a piece of quartersawn wood for stability. The wood was sustainably sourced from the National Trust and Avon Wildlife Trust as part of their ash dieback controls. Candle(s) included.
The grain has been filled with pigment from a rock outcrop near my workshop to highlight it, and to connect with the land. Finished with hardwax oil.
